5 Steps for Finding Purpose in life

Finding purpose

“When purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable.”
― Myles Munroe.

This is the part 2, of my 5-part series on finding purpose in life.

One day, a man found a dirty pig by the stream side. He picked the pig up to his pent house. He then dress up the pig, with the most expensive designers in the world.

Before he noticed, the pig had been swimming in dirty, at the back of the house.

Another day, the man picked up a dirty stone from the same stream. As he washed the stone on getting home, the shone turn out to be a black diamond, which now become the concern stone of the house.

Our purpose in life is just like a hidden diamond, that we have to find out individually.

Some people always wake up every day without direction. They do not live with purpose. That is why they keep going around the same spot and never grow.

So therefore, if you want to find your purpose in life, so that you can bring out the best in you, for you to shine bright just like a diamond in the sky.

Then, here are the basic 5 steps that help me find out my purpose in life, that can help you to.

  1. Get a blank sheet of paper or open up a word processor where you can type.

Equity yourself with any form of writing materials, that is convent for you to write. It might be a pen and a paper, or you prefer the messenger on your phone.

The bottom line is to get just anything to write down your ideas fast.

  1. Write at the top, “What is my true purpose in life?”

At the top of your preferred writing material, write boldly. ‘What is my true purpose in life?’

  1. Close your eye and take a deep breath.

You do this for visualization. Whereby, you leave your outer self behind, to get connected to the inner you. So that, you can see the little light inside of you, that have to shine for the whole world to see.

  1. Write an answer (any answer) that pops into your head.

The answer that pops into your head doesn’t have to be a complete sentence. A short phrase is fine. The point is to write down your thought.

  1. Repeat step 4 until you write the answer that makes you cry. This is your purpose

Keep writing any answer that pops into your head, until you write the answer that makes your cry.

The particular answer that brings tears from your eye is the reason for your existent.

Some years ago, I took these steps and I find out that my purpose in life is to help someone grow consciously from the lessons I learnt, through my experience in life.

That is the reason why, I create Samdiya.com a motivational blog, that add valves to someone life.

Why earning money should not be your purpose is the part 3 of my 5-part series on finding purpose in life.
